The only thing we don't love about haflingers is that they don't come in too many colors, and they're not terribly cow-smart. And also, our family keeps buying us tack sized for quarter horses, so this page is for our token QHs....

Dolly
Dolly is a 5 year old QH/Draft mare. She's been called sabino, minimal overo, and rabicino by various people, and frankly, we're not quite sure what color she is! She is roaned with white legs and spotting on her side, has a baldface with one blue eye and a flaxen mane and tail. She's got an adorable drafty head and a wonderful disposition. Dolly has been ridden by kids as young as 4 and they've had a ball on her. Unfortunately, Dolly is recuperating from a serious injury sustained last summer when she was pastured with a clydesdale stallion. She's nearly sound again though and has been approved to go back to working lightly under saddle again.
Dolly really does it all- she rides, drives, and works single or as part of a team. She's bred to a local spotted mammoth jack for a mule foal this year (already sold) and we hope to have her back in show shape this fall. She's 15.3hh and we hope to give her a shot in both western pleasure and some speed events!

Kaylee - SOLD!
Kaylee is a 6 year old grade mare, probably a paint/foxtrotter cross. She is a tricolor (bay) tobiano with a sweet disposition and fun personality. Kaylee loves life and loves attention. Although she's not a show horse, Kaylee is a lot of fun to ride and would be well-suited to a confident beginner or intermediate rider who is looking primarily for a trail horse. Kaylee is confident and does not spook easily but is somewhat buddy-sour, we have been working on this. Kaylee is currently for sale as she does not fit our horsemanship goals. Please email if you would be interested in more photos or information about Kaylee. Kaylee is 15hh. Kaylee may have been bred before we purchased her; her last foal was a gorgeous red roan pinto colt who looks like he'll mature around 15.2 hands.

2006 Filly from Lissa and Wicker Bill
Born 2-1-06, this beautiful little filly is darling and has already proven to have a WONDERFUL personality. She's calm, curious, and absoultely adorable. Pictures coming soon.
